Education Department

Scope of Work

• Development of faculty members, academic staff, and educational support personnel.
• Promotion of research in medical education and health sciences, including the organization of international academic conferences.
• Educational quality assurance in accordance with various standards.
• Development of collaborations and strengthening of hospital and community networks in the southern region for educational purposes.
• Serving as a central hub for the management of educational documents and information.
• Supporting the educational missions of the administrators of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
• Assisting internal units within the School of Medicine and Health Sciences in effectively carrying out teaching and learning activities.

Undergraduate Education Section

Undergraduate Curriculum Development and Administration Unit

Scope of Work

• Development of new undergraduate programs.
• Curriculum development and revision.
• Opening, closure, modification, and revision of individual courses.
• Organizing meetings of curriculum-related committees.
• Monitoring and supervising the implementation of curricula according to academic plans.
• Curriculum evaluation and graduate outcome assessment.

Undergraduate Educational Management Unit

Scope of Work

• Implementing policies and goals for undergraduate education within the Faculty.
• Managing student registration, course equivalency, and teaching activities across all undergraduate programs.
• Supporting the teaching and learning of the Doctor of Medicine Program.
• Preparing students for academic transitions at each stage of their education.
• Monitoring and supporting students with academic difficulties.
• Coordinating affiliated hospitals and community hospital networks for educational purposes.
• Managing graduation processes and scholarship service obligations for medical students.

Learning Assessment Unit

Scope of Work

• Planning and developing assessment tools for academic programs.
• Supervising the assessment and evaluation processes in accordance with academic regulations.
• Verifying grading results prior to submission to relevant academic committees.
• Managing the administration of Comprehensive Examinations (Steps 1–3) and the National License Examination (NLE Steps 1–3).

Postgraduate Education Section

Scope of Work

• Graduate programs of the Faculty of Medicine.
• Postgraduate diploma programs.
• Management of the Medical Residency Program.
• Coordination with the Ministry of Public Health regarding physician allocation.
• Training programs for medical specialists.
• Instruction of core compulsory courses in postgraduate diploma programs.
• Ethics and moral development activities for medical interns and residents
• Procedural skills enhancement activities for postgraduate medical trainees.
Orientation programs for medical interns and residents.
• Educational quality assurance for all postgraduate programs (WFME).

Student Affairs Unit

Scope of Work

• Promotion of student well-being and welfare across all academic programs, including support for co-curricular activities and the Faculty of Medicine Student Club.
• Enhancement of student engagement and participation in various activities.
• Development of systems and mechanisms for managing and improving student dormitories, including learning spaces, academic support services, and student welfare.
• Development of databases and activities to strengthen the Faculty’s alumni network.
• Collaboration in the development of academic advisory systems, including monitoring and enhancement of student advisor performance.
• Advisory and administrative support for the Faculty of Medicine Student Club in organizing student-led activities.
• Organization of orientation programs for students in all academic years and programs, including parent meetings in both regular and critical situations.
• Management and allocation of student scholarships.

Educational Resource Enhancement Department

มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบการวางแผนและพัฒนาระบบโครงสร้างการเรียนรู้ ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย ข้อมูลความรู้ โปรแกรมการสอน สิ่งสนับสนุน เครื่องมือ วิธีการ เทคนิค อาคารสถานที่ เพื่อสนับสนุนให้การเรียนการสอน ดำเนินไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและสอดคล้องกับการจัดการศึกษาของคณะ ประกอบไปด้วยภารกิจ 4 ด้าน
• วางแผนการจัดหา ใช้ รักษา และพัฒนาทรัพยากรการเรียนรู้ให้สอดคล้องกับความจำเป็นในการจัดการศึกษาของคณะแพทยศาสตร์อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
• จัดระบบการกำกับติดตาม ทวนสอบประสิทธิภาพของการจัดหา ใช้ และรักษาทรัพยากร รวมทั้งสำรวจความต้องการ
• ทรัพยากรการเรียนรู้ในทุกหลักสูตร เพื่อพัฒนาระบบการจัดการทรัพยากร
• จัดหาและพัฒนาการใช้เทคโนโลยีเพื่อการผลิตสื่อและสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ในหลักสูตรต่าง ๆ

• Provide simulated patient services for teaching and learning purposes.

• Provide audiovisual equipment and classrooms in Rajanagarindra Medical Education Building.
